All makeups
have now
been added
back into
the
schedule.
Some
other
scheduled
games have
been moved
around also.
If you
signed up
for the
RainedOut
messages and
have not
seen them,
check your
email spam inbox.
We have been
sending
messaages
out 3 to 4
per day and
folks have
complained
they are not
receiving
them.

Fort Bend
Baseball
League is
now forming
the 26'
Summer
High School
baseball program. We
plan on
hosting an
Incoming
Freshman
Division
(MML). Check
the league
calendar
below for
important
dates. Open
teams will
again be
allowed this
season.
The Freshman
league will
play our
traditional
12 game
format with
playoff for
top teams.
They will
play 2 games
per week
(M-Th).
Estimated
cost per
team $2,800.
Start date
May 27.
Reserve your
team spots
now.
(Teams may
now carry up
to (3) 7th
graders to
help expand
roster, 20
players
total).

Why do they
still call
it "Mickey
Mantle
League"
Fort Bend
Baseball
League has
roots dating
back to the
late 1980’s.
The league
was
originally
chartered &
sanctioned
w/ AABC out
of Michigan
as a Summer
Offseason
high school
baseball
team
program. Our
teams played
in Mickey
Mantle (JV)
and Connie
Mack
(Varsity)
Divisions.
In 2000, our
league added
a Freshman
Division.
In 2002 our
league went
independent
and became
affiliated
with local
high school
leagues in
Katy, Cy
Fair and
Spring
Branch
areas. The
current
league is
comprised of
teams from
Fort Bend
ISD, Lamar
Consld ISD
and Houston
ISD high
schools.
Today, many
incoming
freshman
players
still refer
to the
Summer Fort
Bend program
as the
Mickey
Mantle
league. The
League is
still going
strong with
the Freshman
Division
drawing most
of the
interest and
attention
today.
